A huge congratulations to you and your parents as we’ve officially reached 95 teams! What an incredible milestone for San Diego Team Tennis.
Some Fun Fall Highlights

I processed 247 schedule change requests this fall and added them to the system.

We have 16 high school teams competing this fall which is amazing!

We added 3 to 4 new sites and welcomed more than 10 new coaches this season.

Blackout Obstacles with Clubs and Courts
Unfortunately La Valle, Lake Murray, Scripps and Barnes had the most obstacles to work around given their requests and I did my best to accommodate them. Apologies in advance given the parameters to work with for blackout and time requests.

Oct 11: Fallbrook and Southbay have many constraints and both asked for a blackout date and will need to get with each other to schedule.
Sept 27: Lake M and West Hills have many constraints and both asked for a blackout date and will need to get with each other to schedule.
Nov 8: Lake M and CCA have many constraints and both asked for a blackout date and will need to get with each other to schedule.
14 L6
Oct 18: Lake M and Barnes have many constraints and both asked for a blackout date and will need to get with each other to schedule.
Sept 27: La Valle and Barnes have many constraints and both asked for a blackout date and will need to get with each other to schedule.
Length of Season and Format
10s Orange Ball
We have 6 teams with 10 matches in all.
Last match is scheduled to be played on November 29
10s Green Ball
We have 17 teams! They are separated into two flights of 9 and 8 teams
Flight Blue is scheduled to finish on November 22.
Fight Red is scheduled to finish on November 8 and will await the winner of Flight Blue.
It will be determined later on whether 1st place in each flight will automatically go to Sectionals or if there needs to be a playoff between the winners of each flight.
12s L7
We have 15 teams! They are separated into two flights of 7 and 8 teams
Both flights are scheduled to finish on November 8.
At the end we will have 1st place 1st, 2nd place 2nd and so forth. The 8th team will not have a last match.
It will be determined later on whether 1st place in each flight will automatically go to Sectionals or if the final match will have weight on who goes to Sectionals.
12s L6
We have 10 teams in all with the last match finishing on November 22.
14s L7
We have 15 teams! They are separated into two flights of 7 and 8 teams
Both flights are scheduled to finish on November 8.
At the end we will have 1st ply 1st, 2nd play 2nd and so forth. The 8th team will not have a last match.
It will be determined later on whether 1st place in each flight will automatically go to Sectionals or if the final match will have weight on who goes to Sectionals.
14s L6, 14s L5 and 12s L5
We have two flights
Blue Flight has 8 teams. One is a 12U L5 and two are 14 L5. When the L5 teams play against the L6 teams, only the matches played will count towards WTN as well as matches played to qualify for Sectionals. The actual results when a L5 team plays against a L6 team will not be included in the overall standings for L6 teams. The two 14U L5 teams will play their one match to see who wins with the winner taking all to go to Sectionals.
We have another 12U L5 team in the Red Flight. The two 12U L5 teams will play their one match to see who wins with the winner taking all to go to Sectionals.
At the end we will have 1st play 1st, 2nd play 2nd and so forth. The 8th team will not have a last match.

18s L6 and L7
We have 10 teams in all with the last match finishing on November 22.
The one 18U L7 team will play in this division and will automatically go to Sectionals as the same rules apply in which those matches played with L7s and L6s will only count towards WTN as well as matches played to qualify for Sectionals. The actual results when a L6 team plays against a L7 team will not be included in the overall standings for L6 teams.
18s L5
We have 6 teams with 10 matches in all.
Last match is scheduled to be played on November 29
